Kincardine Silver Stick was held Dec. 27-30, with teams from across Ontario participating. The Walkerton Capitals defeated Saugeen Shores Storm 4-3 in the U13B championship; U13C winners were the Arran Elderslie Ice Dogs, defeating the Drayton Defenders 2-1 in overtime; the Kincardine Kinucks, pictured above, were winners in the U15B division, defeating the Listowel Cyclones 3-1 and the Huron-Bruce Blizzard defeated the Wingham Ironmen 6-5 in overtime to take the U15C division. This year, the tournament gave back to the community, with a $1,000 donation to the Kincardine Food Bank.
