WAYNE NEITZEL

Wayne Paul Neitzel passed away, surrounded by his loving family, on Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2023 at Huron Shores Hospice in Tiverton, at the age of 69.
Loving husband of 49 years to Susan Neitzel.
Proud father of Carrie Hartwick, Joe Neitzel (Brooke), Josh Neitzel (Emily), Jeremy Neitzel (Alex) and James Neitzel (Tracy). Cherished grandpa of Dylan, Evany, Nolan, Lucas, Tessa, Owen, Lily, Matt, Austin, Jessica and James.
He will be fondly remembered by his siblings and their families.
Predeceased by his parents Melvin and Violet Neitzel, and his son Jesse Neitzel.
Born into a large family (five brothers and six sisters), Wayne originally came from the Kitchener area but had spent many years making Kincardine his home. He was a proud and long-time Legion member, a diesel mechanic by trade, loved horses, horseback riding, Elvis and the guitar. At one time, he had his own band called “Black Gold”. Wayne loved music, and playing his guitar was a huge part of who Wayne was. Wayne loved his family and spent as much time as he could with them. From his porch on Queen Street, perhaps you saw him, Wayne observed the world in his own quiet way. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
A celebration of Wayne’s Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion – Branch 183, Kincardine from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday, Dec.3, 2023.
If so desired, memorial donations to Huron Shores Hospice in Wayne’s memory would be appreciated by his family.
