Wetlands were everywhere on the Great Lakes, how one project is helping save them

Researchers with University of Wisconsin-Green Bay are surveying hundreds of wetlands around the region every year as part of the Great Lakes Coastal Wetland Monitoring Program. The program aims to monitor and assess Great Lakes coastal wetland health using biotic indicators and provide a baseline and method for tracking future changes in plants, animals, and environmental quality.
