Road rage incident in Chatsworth results in charges

An Owen Sound man faces charges after police say a road rage incident turned violent.

The Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to the incident on the Grey-Bruce Line in Chathsworth just before 4 p.m. on Wednesday, January 18.

“Once on scene, officers determined that a road rage incident had taken resulting in one of the involved drivers assaulting the other,” police said.

Officers took a 38-year-old Owen Sound man into custody. He’s charged with assault and dangerous driving. Police say he was released from custody and will appear in court in Owen Sound at a later date.
