The Founder of an event called Froggy Fest is inviting everyone to come out and enjoy a celebration of conservation this Saturday, September 17 on the Courthouse Park in Goderich.

Bethany Anne Davidson says the event runs from eight in the morning till two in the afternoon.

“We have lots of free fun, including time with our reptile and amphibian friends, craft time with real artists, we’ve got face painting, free snacks and lots and lots of native species give-aways. We also have a whole bunch of awesome door prizes,” says Davidson.

She says the grand door prize is a scenic tour with Papple Aviation.

Davidson adds people can win a door prize by buying a Froggy Fest map, then visiting all of the conservation booths and getting their maps stamped at every booth and then turn it in for a chance to win one of the door prizes. She says all of the money generated through the sale of the maps will go towards conservation non-profits

“As well as proceeds from every single sale. The reason for this is to have fun and celebrate conservation, while learning what we can do to make a difference in our world and just having a great time together and seeing that there are a lot of us who are making better choices,” Davidson adds.

More information about the event can be found by googling Froggy Fest 2022.
