Hanover Police make arrest after drunk driver drives to police station

Don’t drink and drive, or you could wind up telling on yourself. 

The Hanover Police Service says it charged a 65-year-old woman from Hanover on Tuesday afternoon, after she drove to the station to file a complaint. 

Officers performed a breathalyzer test on the woman, and it showed she had a blood alcohol content that was nearly three times the legal limit. 

The woman was charged with impaired driving, which includes an immediate 30-day licence suspension and seven day vehicle impoundment.
