MAITHEL LEE WILSON

It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of Maithel Lee Wilson, of Point Clark. She passed away at the Kincardine hospital on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at age 73.
Maithel Lee Wilson was born in Kincardine on Dec. 2, 1948, to the late Maithel (née Campbell) and Delbert Wilson.
Greatly missed by sons John (Lindsay) Cuyler, Jeff (Michelle) Cuyler, by grandchildren Olin, Everleigh and grand-pup Bruce, all of Guelph.
Also survived by siblings Judy Masterson of Kitchener, Mary Flanagan of London, Debbie (Terry) Schell of London and Thomas “Murdoch” Wilson of Newfoundland, and by several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by nephew Chad Masterson, and brother-in-law Bill Flanagan.
She was a divine spark in this world and left a lasting impression on all who met her. You were instantly accepted. She was loving, generous and intelligent. Maithel Lee had an infectious laugh and her personality lit up the room. Her passion for teaching and education hopefully lives through this grammatically incorrect paragraph. She will be deeply missed.
The family would like to thank the South Bruce Grey Health Centre staff – Olivia, Amber and the rest of the team – for their kindness during a difficult time.
Visitation will be held at MacKenzie & McCreath Funeral Home in Ripley from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Friday, May 6, 2022. The funeral service will be held at the Pine River United Church at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 7, 2022. Interment Ripley Cemetery, with reception to follow at Pine River United Church.
Memorial donations can be made to the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, via the Kincardine and Community Healthcare Foundation (www.kincardinefoundation.ca/ways-to-give/make-a-donation).
