The OPP has identified a young man who died during a two-vehicle crash in West Perth County early Tuesday morning.
According to police, emergency crews were called to a crash involving a pick-up truck and a hatchback vehicle on Perth Line 20, southeast of Mitchell at around 7 a.m.
An investigation determined the truck and hatchback collided head-on. The driver of the hatchback, identified as 23-year-old Kyle Ford of Hensall, died on the scene.
The driver of the pickup, a 20-year-old Stratford man, sustained minor injuries. The area was closed for several hours while members of the OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) team investigated, but has since reopened.
No other details have been provided.
