Anna “Joyce” Courtney (née Campbell) passed away peacefully, with family by her side, on Monday, Jan. 29, 2024 at SBGHC – Kincardine, at the age of 92.Beloved wife of the late Robert (Bob) Courtney.She was born in Amberley, Ontario on May 17, 1931 to her parents, the Late Noma (Shiells) and William Campbell.Loving mother to Dennis Courtney, Wendy (Tom) Leonard, Michael (Debbie) Courtney and Shannon (Bill) Henderson. Greatly missed by her eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.Also survived by sister Joan (Ellwood) Irwin, sister-in-law Geraldine McLeod and several nieces and nephews.Predeceased by son Patrick Courtney, sister and brother-in-law Janet & Bill Kempton, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Leonard & Muriel Courtney, and brother-in-law Carmen McLeod.Visitation will be held at the Pine River United Church on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2024 from 10-11 a.m., one hour prior to the funeral service. The funeral service directly follows at 11 a.m. with Pastor Wonder Chimvinga officiating.A private spring interment service will be held at Lurgan Cemetery.As expressions of sympathy, donations can be made in Joyce’s memory to the Pine River United Church or Huron Shores Hospice.Condolences and donations can be made online at www.mackenzieandmccreath.com2 Timothy 4:7 “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race and I have kept the faith.”
