KENNETH MacDONALD

Kenneth William MacDonald, of Ripley, passed away at Trillium Court in Kincardine on Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2022, at the age of 95.
He was born in Ashfield Township on Oct. 8, 1927, to the late Mary (McIvor) and R.D. MacDonald.
Beloved husband of Margery MacDonald (Harrison) for 70 years.
Dear father of Brian (Susan) MacDonald of Winthrop, Barry (Marg) MacDonald of Ripley, David MacDonald (Catherine) of Kincardine, Peter (Arlene) MacDonald of Calgary, and Heather (Scott) Campbell of Stratford. Also greatly missed by 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by his daughter Nancy MacDonald, daughter-in-law Rosemary MacDonald, brother Roderick MacDonald and sisters Bertha Taylor and Isabel Havens.
The family would like to thank all of the staff of Long Term Care at Trillium Court for the wonderful care Ken received over the past three years. Their genuine loving care and concern for both Ken and his family has been beyond measure. Grateful thanks are extended to Dr. Gurbin for his attention and compassion.
Ken will be remembered for his love of family and sense of community. We will miss his sense of humour and the twinkle in his eye.
A private funeral service was held from the MacKenzie & McCreath Funeral Home in Ripley, followed by interment in Lochalsh Cemetery.
Donations to the Trillium Court Residents Council or Huron Shores Hospice would be greatly appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
