An open house will be held for Georgian Bluffs residents regarding upcoming renovations to a local arena.
On Monday, September 26 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m., Georgian Bluffs residents can come to the Kemble Community Centre and Arena to offer input and ideas on the planned arena renovation project for the facility. In 2021, Georgian Bluffs received a 1.2 million dollar grant from the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program to help fund upgrades at Kemble Arena, including improving accessibility and renovating the space to accommodate different recreation activities. The township has partnered with Masri O Architects to design the renovations.
At the open house, residents can discuss ideas for the project with representatives from Masri O Architects. A survey, in online and hardcopy form, will be put up on the town’s website following the open house. For more information on the renovation project, visit georgianbluffs.ca/kemblearena.
