Two charged in armed robbery

Grey Bruce OPP have arrested two suspects after responding to a report of an armed robbery in progress at a business on Highway 21 in Saugeen First Nation.
Officers arrived on scene about 8:40 p.m.Wednesday and took a suspect into custody. They had help from the West Region Emergency Response Team (ERT), the OPP Canine Unit, and the OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit (TRU) to locate and arrest a second suspect.
Both accused persons remain in custody and are being held pending a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Walkerton.
OPP officers from various units continued their investigation Thursday. Highway 21 was closed until about 9 a.m Thursday morning, and has since re opened.
