Lead levels in Benton Harbor, Michigan’s drinking water continue to decrease as 90 percent of the test results came in at or below 9 parts-per-billion (ppb). Sixty-five residential taps around the city between July 1 and Dec. 31 last year, according to the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy, marking a decrease from 14-ppb in calculated test results from the first six months of 2022.
