Huron County Warden Glen McNeil says there has been amazing growth in residential development in his municipality of Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh in the past couple of years.
And McNeil says that growth extends to the rest of the county as well as municipalities respond to the need for housing.
“There are a lot of new duplexes, triplexes, homes that have been built and are in the process of being built. Apartment buildings. There is tremendous growth and activity within Huron County,” he said.
“There are a lot of triplexes, duplexes, and apartment buildings that are being built for more affordable housing. Housing is a continuum of many different aspects and that is being addressed in the construction,” he added.
McNeil suggests anyone driving through some of the towns in Huron County would be surprised by the amount of residential development just off the main streets.
