Bruce Power suppliers will match the first $10,000 raised for the Huron Shores Hospice End-of-Year Campaign.
The not-for-profit charity counts on community funding to provide local, quality, compassionate care and support for those at the end of their lives. Residents of Kincardine, Saugeen Shores, Huron-Kinloss and surrounding areas can access those services free of charge. The hospice also provides programs like End-of-Life planning, and grief support.
“Bruce Power’s Supplier Partners play an integral role in supporting local organizations that enhance the quality of life for people in our region,” said Mike Rencheck, Bruce Power’s President and CEO. “The Bruce Power Supplier Sponsorship Program is pleased to match the first $10,000 in donations to the Hospice’s End-of-Year Campaign, and we urge everyone to give generously to this great cause.”
“Donating to our End-of-Year Campaign is an investment in our future paving the way for families to receive quality, dignified and compassionate care and support, right here in our community, said Cathy Herbert, Executive Director of Huron Shores Hospice. “We are so appreciative of the Bruce Power Suppliers’ offer to match donations, providing our loyal donors double the impact for each donation.”
Donations can be made online at www.huronshoreshospice.ca or by mailing a cheque to Box 250, 24 King Street N, Tiverton, ON N0G 2T0.
