Power outage in Arthur due to transmission pole fire

Most of Arthur is in the dark this hour due to a power outage.

Over 2,000 residents in Arthur and the surrounding area are without power, and a restoration time is not currently known.

Wellington North Power says a Hydro One transmission pole near Fergus caught fire earlier is the primary cause, and notes that hydro crews have been dispatched to that area.
