Stop Violence Against Women Perth County is hosting a pair of events to launch a new training video about intimate partner violence.
November is Women’s Abuse Prevention Month, so StopVAW Perth County is going ahead with unveiling their project called Supporting Survivors: Responding to Domestic Violence in Perth County.
“The video will include personal stories from survivors of abuse alongside local professional experts in intimate partner violence. It illustrates that intimate partner violence does happen at home here in Perth County and that there are active steps everyone can take to better support survivors,” a statement from StopVAW Perth County shared.
The first launch event of November will be November 21 from 2-4 p.m. for professionals and community leaders, and the second will be November 23 from 7-9 p.m. at The Local Community Food Centre. This event is open to the public.
