Days after the Russian invasion of Ukraine began, Londoners gathered to call for peace and show their support for the everyday Ukrainians who are taking up arms to defend their country. A crowd of hundreds, made up of members of London’s Ukrainian community and other supporters, assembled in the northwest corner of Victoria Park Sunday afternoon to push for an end to the violent Russian incursion on the eastern European nation.
