Bluewater Mayor, Paul Klopp says council will take a look at their current policy around shoreline protection.
Klopp says their concern is their policy might be a little too tight.

Bluewater has some property along the lake and a person is going to protect their own property, but it’s decided by their engineer that they really need to put a toe in or another five feet and it encroaches on Bluewater property.”
Klopp points out, that’s the most common situation and they want to protect all of their taxpayers by reducing the risks around liability, either during construction or later, while at the same time, acknowledging owners rights to protect their property, so council has agreed to review the policy in January.
